The Faroe Islands are an inexhaustible scenery of pictorial motifs. If you go closer, just a small spot, place, settlement or city can be just as inexhaustible. The light and thus the colors are constantly changing – on the same day and through the seasons.
I work in an expressive imagery between the known and the abstract. I let my inner feelings play so that I feel free in working with the subject.
Mainly it is the painting that I work with. But I also work with other expressions, for example acrylic on paper, using oil chalk and watercolour.
The palette is colorful and the light is necessary.
I started painting in 1976. In 2003 I was at the Academy of Arts in Holbæk and have participated in many and varied art courses.
